Acute Confusion in an Older Man — General Practice Clinic

You are a GP registrar in a suburban general practice clinic. Sarah Jenkins, the daughter of 78-year-old Arthur Jenkins, is waiting to speak with you about concerns regarding her father, who has been brought to the clinic. Take a focused collateral history, describe the relevant examination you would perform and request appropriate findings from the examiner. You will then be asked to discuss your provisional diagnosis, investigations and immediate management with the examiner.
